Plants I hate

Yes, we all have the plants we can't stand. I have at least three that get on my everlasting nerves. Mostly, because they died on me. Lol. I have done everything to keep these darn plants alive but nothing worked. I watered, I moved, I gave love and sun; but nothing, I mean nothing worked. So I gave up, threw them away, and promised to study, to learn, to really understand what these plants needed. I realized that I missed that step, in the beginning of my plant journey, I thought most plants all needed the same thing, Sun and Water, but surprise, surprise I was wrong. See some plants need the proper spot, proper pot, and proper stand. Some can be under drafts some cannot. Some plants can stay in the bathroom forever while others, can stay outside all four seasons. Research, and research more. Buying plants is fun but it can also be a challenge if you don't, research and understand what you are committing to. For me, I will try to give these plants another try. Maybe when I get a new house or more space. But for the moment I can't stand them

Here are my top three plants that I will probably never buy:

Dieffenbachia Zebra plant Peace Lily

Dieffenbachia grows best with soil that's not overly moist. Hold off on watering the plant until the top 2 inches of soil are dry, then water thoroughly at the base of the plant. Droopy leaves are usually a sign that the plant needs to be watered

Keep the zebra plant in bright, filtered light (but not direct sunlight) and its soil consistently moist. Accentuate its graphic striped leaves with an equally bold pot and keep an eye out for its signature yellow bract, which will bloom in late summer or early fall

Peace Lily Keep the soil moist, but do not overwater. Peace lilies can tolerate short periods of dry soil, but their leaves will start to brown if neglected for too long. Peace lilies are sensitive to chemicals commonly found in tap water, such as fluoride, which may cause brown leaf tips
